What Design-Only Means

A design-only arrangement focuses on layouts, concepts, drawings, specifications and design decisions. The client may then appoint a contractor using that information. This can suit projects where an independent design process is important, or where the client already has a trusted contractor.

The key question is whether the drawings and specifications are detailed enough for accurate pricing and site execution.
